In Photos: A Day in the Life of Mommyhood

Just what do we do all day?

Sometimes, pictures say a thousand words, and because I could literally type ten thousand words for any given day…I will spare you (this time!) and share a photo montage with you instead. Enjoy!

She loves looking through books, even if she doesn't understand them.

Like every other remote in the house, why wouldn't this one find its way into her mouth too?

Because I'm a SAHM, I get to make awesome breakfasts' like this to share with her. (The coffee is for mom).

  1. Hi Stephanie,

No need to speak a word … the photos tell a beautiful “a day in the life of” story.

As I’m viewing these super images, I’m thinking how wonderful it would have been to share my life through photos, via the Internet, when I was a military dependent living in Europe.

Of course, that was a few “moons” ago. The Internet didn’t exist.

When my daughter was born in Heidelberg, I had to depend on snail mail to send pictures home to the states.

The time frame was generally two to three weeks to get photos to America and another two to three weeks to hear back from family and friends. Good grief, that was a tedious waiting process.

The fresh produce looks so yummy. With two feet of snow here in my yard in Massachusetts, we won’t be indulging in fresh anything for a while yet. Sigh.

I love the shots at the dentist. Too funny and who couldn’t relate! 😀

Lovely montage of your day together.

    Take care!

    ~Cathy~

    • Thank you Cathy for your thoughtful response! It’s also nice to meet a fellow military spouse 🙂 We are very grateful that we have the luxury of technology while we are stationed over here.
This is our second time around in Europe, the last time we were here they had not yet invented Skype, so this time we feel even more spoiled as we get to Skype with our parents every weekend so our little one can see her Grandma(s) and Grandpa(s).
